Social Media Coordinator

Overview

Reach Detroit is searching for a creative, detail-driven, and platform-obsessed Social Media Coordinator to support channel growth through thoughtful execution of our social strategies.

As a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our internal team to create social media content for brands and businesses across various industries.

You’re equal parts creative and strategic. You live in the social space and understand what makes content click. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, feel at home on and behind the camera, and can design a high-impact, aesthetically pleasing Instagram grid in no time.

• Assist, collaborate and develop concepts and content calendars for clients within the Reach Detroit client portfolio
• Create high-performing content for both organic and paid channels, with strong instincts for hooks, pacing, aesthetics, and platform-first storytelling
• Participate in team and client content shoot days, ensuring high-quality content
• Partner with relevant team members and clients to support campaigns, creative needs, and strategy-testing

• 1-2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy
• Demonstrated success executing social strategies and contributing to channel growth
• Strong experience producing and editing short-form social video content
• Comfort with social analytics, insights, and performance reporting
• Strong understanding of Tik Tok, Instagram, Pinterest, Meta tools, and emerging platforms
• Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills
• A curiosity-driven mindset with a passion for testing, iterating, and pushing creative boundaries
• A strong attention to detail
