We are currently partnered with a leading General Contractor in Michigan that specializes in civil construction projects. They're actively seeking experienced and skilled Estimator to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the estimating team in preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates
  • Oversee the development of quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and labor and material pricing for precise and competitive bids.
  • Cooperate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential information and insights for the estimating process
  • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to identify potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
  • Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely completion of work within budgetary constraints.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management, keeping them informed about project status.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Preconstruction and/or Estiamting for civil projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully working on projects valued over $10M
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, HCSS, Pro Est, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar applications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
