Job SummaryLead Estimator required to create accurate and competitive cost estimates for preconstruction of commercial and industrial projects, collaborating closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Participate in bid strategy meetings and project handoffs.
- Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to execution.
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating.
- Proficiency with estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Base salary and project‑based bonus.
