M&A & Strategic Partnerships Manager – North America
Our client is a global automotive and powertrain technology business expanding its footprint in North America. They are seeking an M&A & Strategic Partnerships Manager to support corporate growth initiatives across the U.S.
This role focuses on strategic partnerships, M&A support, government engagement, and market intelligence, working closely with senior leadership to enable market entry, investment projects, and long-term positioning.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop partnerships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, technology firms, and energy companies
- Support joint ventures, alliances, and investment initiatives in coordination with corporate M&A and Legal teams
- Build and manage a U.S. partnership pipeline aligned with corporate strategy
- Engage with federal and state agencies on policy, incentives, and regulatory matters
- Support FDI, site establishment, and compliance with U.S. regulatory frameworks
- Monitor market, policy, and industry trends impacting powertrain and mobility investments
- 8–12 years’ experience in strategic partnerships, M&A support, public affairs, or business development
- Strong experience engaging with government entities and senior industry stakeholders
- Background in automotive, mobility, manufacturing, or energy-related sectors preferred
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- English fluency required;
Spanish or Mandarin a plus
