Job Overview

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations through cross-department communication, reporting accuracy, engagement initiatives, event planning, and executive support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining alignment across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate alignment and accountability across operations, including daily Top 5 meetings.
  • Support Plant Manager with day-to-day operational coordination.
  • Ensure accurate and complete operational reporting and dashboards.
  • Drive hourly engagement initiatives and lead committee meetings.
  • Plan and coordinate plant-wide engagement events.
  • Prepare leadership-ready presentations and summaries.
  • Support BOS cadence and financial processes.
  • Track milestones and updates for special projects.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Interpret operational data and create dashboards.
  • Ability to identifies gaps or issues and proactively addresses them.
  • Effectively prioritizes multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work across multiple shifts to support operational needs.
  • Ability to create and manage spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to interpret operational data and create dashboards.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
  • SAP experience a plus, but not required
