The RoleAs an Analysis Associate, you play a critical role in Maine Pointe’s commercial and delivery engine. Working closely with an Analysis Director, you lead high-impact assessments that identify, quantify, and clearly articulate value creation opportunities for clients.
Over a typical 5–7 week assessment, you will guide teams, develop rigorous analyses, and translate insights into compelling, executive-ready narratives that drive client decisions and enable full-scale engagements. This role offers broad exposure to industries, senior leaders, and Maine Pointe’s core practice areas while building a strong foundation for career progression within the firm.
What You’ll Do- Lead assessment teams (3–8 members), ensuring consistent execution of Maine Pointe’s methodology, tools, and quality standards
- Design and manage assessment plans, timelines, and daily priorities to ensure depth, focus, and speed
- Coach and develop team members, guiding analytical, personnel, and market-based studies to accurately quantify value opportunities
- Build and validate financial models, assumptions, and savings hypotheses that support a compelling proof of value
- Synthesize insights into a clear storyline, consolidating team outputs into executive-ready presentations and decision materials
- Drive continuous improvement by refining analysis tools, templates, and data sources to enhance speed and impact
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in management or operational consulting (industry experience a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to lead teams, manage ambiguity, and deliver under tight timelines
- Financial modeling and value-creation experience
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Comfort working in fast-paced, high-stakes consulting environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Willingness to travel 70–85%, depending on client needs
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented consulting culture
