Regional Sales Manager | Great Lakes

Direct Wire & Cable is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth and customer relationships across the Great Lakes region. This full-time, remote role requires travel up to 50% within the territory and involves developing sales strategies, building strong customer partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams to expand market presence and deliver exceptional service.

This position is a great fit for someone with proven sales leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a strategic mindset; someone who can drive new business, nurture existing accounts, and contribute to a collaborative, growth‑focused team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies informed by customer insights, market research, and industry expertise
  • Drive new business development while managing and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Build and maintain a strong portfolio of accounts to meet revenue and market share goals
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to align sales initiatives with customer needs
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long‑term agreements with key accounts
  • Track customer interactions, opportunities, and performance metrics using CRM tools
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market feedback to leadership
  • Represent Direct Wire & Cable at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field strongly preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales management, business development, or a related role
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing customer accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skill
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Great Lakes region; valid driver’s license required
