Estimator, Business

We are seeking an experienced electrical estimator to join our team to assist with bidding and business development.

• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications and blueprints
• Preform estimates at different level of design (conceptual, design development and construction documents)
• Visit job sites and attend pre-bid meetings to clarify scope and prepare estimates
• Compose proposal/scope letters and submit to customers
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion
• Working knowledge of the codes and standards related to electrical installations
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

• Candidate must have over two years of estimating experience in the electrical industry
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word applications
• Experience with Accubid estimating software (or similar estimating programs)
• Working knowledge of electrical installations.
• Journeyman Electrical License preferred, but not required

Preferred Skills/Estimating Software:

Accubid, EBM, McCormick and/or MC2
