Estimator
We are seeking an experienced electrical estimator to join our team to assist with bidding and business development.
- Ability to read and understand plans, specifications and blueprints
- Preform estimates at different level of design (conceptual, design development and construction documents)
- Visit job sites and attend pre-bid meetings to clarify scope and prepare estimates
- Compose proposal/scope letters and submit to customers
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion
- Working knowledge of the codes and standards related to electrical installations
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements:
- Candidate must have over two years of estimating experience in the electrical industry
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word applications
- Experience with Accubid estimating software (or similar estimating programs)
- Working knowledge of electrical installations.
- Journeyman Electrical License preferred, but not required
Preferred Skills/Estimating Software:
Accubid, EBM, McCormick and/or MC2
