Overview

Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in the metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Sales Representative to maintain existing accounts, expand current relationships, and drive new business opportunities. This role involves leveraging warm leads, re-engaging existing customers and pursuing cold calls while collaborating closely with management and higher leadership to align customer requirements with company capabilities. The ideal candidate will develop sales strategies, provide technical assistance to clients, and continuously grow their expertise in company services to maximize revenue and support long-term growth.

    Experience:

    5+ years professional sales experience - preferably in the automotive industry
Top Required Skills
  • Professional experience "hunting" for new business, while also "farming" existing relationships and maintaining those customer expectations
  • Highly motivated, focused, and ambitious; personality appropriate for consultative selling
  • Strong computer knowledge - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Need to be able to track sales production through Excel and be proficient in presentation skills utilizing the Microsoft Suite of Products.
