Metro Detroit based law firm is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator supports organizational initiatives by assisting with day-to-day tasks, discovery requests, vendor payments, drafting correspondence, and planning, tracking, and reporting across multiple departments. This role helps ensure tasks, timelines, documentation, and communication are effectively maintained to ensure successful execution of business priorities. The Project Coordinator will work closely with internal and external teams to keep initiatives organized and moving forward.

Key Responsibilities &

Job Duties
  • Coordinate and support cross‑functional projects and firm‑wide initiatives to ensure timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met.
  • Track project progress, maintain status reports, and proactively identify risks, delays, or resource constraints.
  • Assist attorneys and internal teams with managing and responding to discovery requests, ensuring documentation is organized, accurate, and submitted within required deadlines.
  • Maintain organized records, documentation systems, and tracking tools to support transparency and accountability across departments.
  • Process and monitor vendor invoices and payments; liaise with vendors to ensure timely and accurate billing and documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting notes, and follow up on action items to ensure accountability.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between legal staff, administrative teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Support planning and execution of strategic initiatives by developing timelines, tracking deliverables, and preparing executive‑ready updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum four years’ of project coordination or related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation quality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, with outstanding attention to detail and an exemplary commitment to meeting deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Able to consistently display a positive, professional, customer‑service focus.
