Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area for an Accounts & Administrative Associate. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day administrative and financial tasks such as handling invoices, processing payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting office operations. The individual will provide customer service to members and partners, assist with communication needs, and support the coordination of events and meetings.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Administrative Processes and general office management
- Proficiency in Finance, Invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience providing exceptional customer service and member support
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in common office software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software)
- Previous experience in non‑profit or business organizations is a plus
- Manage and maintain Quick Books on a daily basis
- Enter, track, and reconcile transactions in Quick Books
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Create, send, and follow up on invoices
- Process and pay vendor invoices accurately and on time
- Assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Maintain clean, organized financial records
- Support the Finance & Accounts Manager with accounting‑related and administrative tasks as needed
- Strong, hands‑on experience with Quick Books (required)
- Prior experience managing AR and AP independently
- Experience invoicing, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies
- Comfortable working with financial data and numbers
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and reliable
- Able to manage deadlines and prioritize work
- Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience required
