Job Description

The Senior Partner Assistant provides high‑level administrative support for Management Team members across various functions at Roland Berger. This role requires utmost confidentiality, professionalism, strong time and project management, and the ability to understand and adapt to evolving business needs. The position is based in our Detroit office and requires at least three days of on‑site presence.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, and manage flow of information to senior executives.
  • Proactively support leaders with internal and external commitments in a fast‑paced, client‑changing environment.
  • Anticipate Management Team member needs and respond proactively.
  • Complete timesheets for management team members.
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and other events and activities.
  • Sort and distribute mail and packages.
  • Answer incoming office phone calls and direct, as appropriate.
  • Greet and direct office visitors.
  • Work with building management on security and visitor management issues.
  • Arrange office facilities, including scheduling meeting rooms, audio‑visual equipment, and catering, as needed.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare and submit expense reports for Partners.
  • Research administrative matters; refer questions and issues to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain standard documentation, such as organization charts and distribution lists.
  • Compile information and populate PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Gather leader feedback for presentation and spreadsheet correction.
  • Prepare and submit client invoices.
  • Take minutes in meetings.
  • Provide coverage to other administrative assistants as needed.
  • Engage in other corporate processes, as needed.
  • Perform ad‑hoc tasks and projects.
Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 6+ years of related experience, preferably within professional services supporting senior executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and respond to staff, leaders, and clients accurately and timely.
  • Experience exercising discretion with confidential information.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively compose business materials such as correspondence and presentations.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and takes accountability for decisions and results.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to operate in a flexible and ambiguous environment.
