THE OPPORTUNITY

This Accounts Payable Specialist role is part of a high-volume, shared services accounting team supporting multiple business units. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices while partnering closely with internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and values strong teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency

+ Perform three-way matching (purchase orders, receipts, invoices) and resolve discrepancies

+ Research and correct invoice errors, pricing issues, and quantity variances

+ Act as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, maintaining professional relationships

+ Partner with internal teams to ensure timely approvals and issue resolution

+ Maintain accurate records within the ERP system and support month-end close activities

+ Leverage Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, reporting, and data validation

+ Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and workflow efficiency

Requirements

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

+ Demonstrated 2 or more years of direct experience in high-volume Accounts Payable processing

+ Hands-on experience with Net Suite or another large ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Workday, etc.)

+ Strong understanding of three-way matching and AP best practices

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with vendors and internal stakeholders

+ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
