Are you looking to grow your accounting career in a stable, mission-driven financial institution? I’m currently recruiting for a client seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant with 1–2 years of experience in a credit union or bank setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of accounting experience specifically within a credit union or banking environment (required).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
