TEMP Accounting Manager

A growing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to work independently, and comfortable owning journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and audit support.

The Accounting Manager role is a contract position. It is a remote opportunity.

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity
• Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Consolidate financial results across multiple entities
• Support month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting
• Assist with completion of the annual audit and work directly with external auditors
• Ensure financial data flows accurately through ERP and reporting systems
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness prior to reporting
• Support process improvements related to close, consolidation, and reporting
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
• Strong experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations
• Prior experience supporting external audits and working with auditors
• ERP experience required;
  Epicor 21 (P21) strongly preferred
• Highly systems-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate complex financial systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding
• CPA a plus, but not required
• Distribution or multi-entity experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
