Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for accurate invoicing, cash application, and collections while ensuring compliance with customer terms and internal controls. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and strong attention to detail.

Fully onsite position. Full time and permanent position.

• Generate and process customer invoices for manufactured goods and services
• Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, check, lockbox) accurately and timely
• Monitor customer accounts, aging reports, and past-due balances
• Perform collection activities and follow up with customers on overdue invoices
• Resolve billing discrepancies, pricing issues, and short payments
• Coordinate with sales, shipping, and customer service to ensure accurate billing
• Maintain customer credit limits and assist with credit reviews
• Prepare and reconcile accounts receivable reports
• Support month-end close, including AR reconciliations and journal entries
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Net Suite, or similar)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
