Location: Detroit, MI (Guardian Building – hybrid work schedule)
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Must Haves:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in governmental accounting
- Experience working with a budget
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and governmental accounting standards
Plusses:
- Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in governmental accounting
Job Description:
- Insight Global is looking for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will support the division in managing the financial operations and supporting the oversight of the department’s budget. This role involves overseeing accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing detailed financial analysis to aid in decision-making
