Senior Accountant

I’m currently supporting a confidential, growth‑oriented organization in identifying a Remote Senior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional and is ready to take ownership of critical accounting functions while contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred due to the technical rigor, project management discipline, and analytical depth this role requires.

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation
• Assist with consolidated financial statements and variance analysis
• Support audit activities, including liaising with external auditors
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to analyze financial data and streamline workflows
• Participate in system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process optimization
• Handle ad‑hoc projects and analyses as the organization evolves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA‑track strongly preferred)
• 2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  , with Big 4 public accounting experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners
