Job Description:
Seeking a department coordinator to serve in behavioral health West Market Clinics in Minnesota and North Dakota. This professional works full time, 40 hours per week, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. There are no weekend, holiday, or on call requirements. The ideal candidate is tech savvy and creative, as they will assist with the monthly newsletter. Will need to be self-motivated to analyze the schedule and fill openings.
Must have excellent time management, data collection and analysis, interpersonal communication, and process improvement skills.
This position plans, organizes, and implements the non-nursing functions of the department to facilitate workflow, enhance unit productivity, and provide support to the staff within the department. Position promotes efficient unit function and indirect patient care. Performs administrative tasks and general office duties for the Behavioral Health Department; requisition supplies and services as directed; assist with scheduling; and other duties as assigned including preparation of routine and non-routine reports, meeting minutes, memos, data collection/graphs and special assignments/projects.

- Prior work in a hospital or clinic setting within patient care, registration, or scheduling
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Have proficient and comprehensive skills in personal computer software systems and applications,
- Are familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Have strong ability to multitask and feel comfortable with independently prioritizing projects as they arise
- Have previously done calendar management or scheduling
- Are eager to learn, a self starter, and have an interest in Behavioral Health
