Facility:
This facility is part of a multi-specialty healthcare system with an Urgent Care center adjacent to the hospital and emergency medicine department. The collaborative environment features strong community involvement and a solid sense of teamwork, providing exceptional healthcare to the growing community and surrounding area.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent Care
Job Details:
• 0.75 FTE position in a busy Urgent Care setting
• Must be certified to care for individuals of all ages
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
• Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide care emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention
• Manage patient variety and high-acuity needs
• Work schedule includes 2-3 shifts/week rotating every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday
• Clinic hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm
• Variable schedule may include floating to cover CME/vacations at Park Rapids HWY 34 Walk-In Clinic
• Opportunity to provide coverage in ED if interested
• Join a team of 3 Advanced Practice Providers with MD oversight
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited program
• Experience in Emergency Medicine, Walk-In or Urgent Care preferred
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota (if NP)
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota
• National certification in applicable area
• Current CPR certification
• Position requires high level of customer service skills
• Successful completion of credentialing process prior to practice
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
