The practice space is connected to the hospital, which features an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit, and is the only hospital in the county. Opportunity: BC/BE - Internal Medicine

Join another internist and 6 Family Practice Physicians in a growing practice. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment while serving a community of approximately 10,000 residents. This is also an NHSC Loan Repayment Site, providing additional financial benefits for qualified candidates.

Job Details:

• Primarily office-based practice in space connected to the hospital
• Option to follow and treat patients admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist
• Weekly work schedule: 8-5, Monday-Friday plus call rotation
• Back-up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA
• Anticipated patient volume: 15-22 patients per day
• Provide Internal Medicine support to Hospitalist covering an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit
• Average daily census: ICU = 4;
  Medical/Surgical = 15

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
