Job Type: Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Overtime as needed)

Position Summary

The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for advancing operational excellence across Dynamic Homes by identifying, implementing, and sustaining process improvements. Using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, this role partners with operations, production, safety, and supply chain teams to reduce waste, improve quality, enhance workplace safety, and increase overall efficiency throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, cost savings, and safety enhancements

  • Plan, facilitate, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies

  • Coach and train cross-functional teams on Lean tools and continuous improvement techniques

  • Analyze current operational processes and develop data-driven strategies for improvement

  • Collaborate with process managers and team leads to support proactive change management and employee engagement

  • Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, and success criteria for improvement projects

  • Monitor project performance, identify obstacles, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes

  • Support the development of a zero-defect mindset and continuous improvement culture

  • Assist with root cause analysis, structured problem-solving, and standard work documentation

  • Partner with Safety teams to identify and implement solutions that prevent incidents and near misses

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing or process improvement environment

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to lead teams and influence decision-making at all organizational levels

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity

Preferred:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)

  • Experience with value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and 5S implementation
