Sales Support AssociateThe Sales Support Associate role is integral to the store’s success and efficiency. The associate provides friendly, efficient service to customers, supports the flow of product from receipt to point of sale, and maintains an accurate, organized sales floor.
Responsibilities- Cash Wrap
- Greet customers with a smile, eye contact, and offer your name.
- Interact genuinely and naturally, read cues to determine customers’ needs.
- Conduct email/name capture where permitted by law.
- Maintain accuracy when operating POS.
- Keep the cash wrap organized and clean.
- Suggest multiple add‑ons and sell gift cards.
- Maintain cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy.
- Create a lasting impression by thanking customers and giving a reason to return.
- Represent the Coach brand appropriately.
- Stockroom / Warehouse
- Receive shipments and transfers, scan cartons, verify store information.
- Notify Store Management of new product arrival, communicate discrepancies.
- Process shipment/transfers per Coach standards and time frames.
- Organize and clean the stock room daily; include offsite/remote warehouse when applicable.
- Shift/organize product in the stockroom to react to sell‑through.
- Manage stock levels and product ownership both back‑of‑house and on the sales floor.
- Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts as directed.
- Participate in store physical inventory counts when scheduled.
- Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards.
- Sales Floor
- Regularly assess replenishment needs and replenish assigned zones.
- React to sell‑through and execute visual merchandising needs.
- Support sales floor activities as directed.
- Communicate price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to multiple customers.
- Respond to customer requests confidently; partner with sales team or Store Management when needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Drive for Results – consistently top performer, bottom‑line oriented, pushes self and others for results.
- Customer Focus – dedicated to meeting expectations, gathers first‑hand customer information, builds trust and respect.

- Experience: 1‑3 years in retail (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably in a luxury environment. Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills, iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, internet use, walkie‑talkie, price and product release sheets.
- Physical: Fast pace execution, effective communication, maneuver sales floor and stock rooms, climb, bend, kneel, lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs for cartons) frequently.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak retail days (e.g., Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day).
