Job Description

The Pool Supervisor assists in overseeing daily operations of a pool in a hotel, resort, or similar setting.

• Typically requires a high school diploma and 3 or more years of experience.
• May require lifeguard, CPR, or pool operator certification.
• Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices. Leads and directs the work of other employees.
• Typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
• Ability to foster teamwork. Ability to develop and mentor others.

• Oversees a team of lifeguards and pool or cabana staff during an assigned shift or in the absence of the Pool Manager.
• Ensures that pool facilities, including concession stands, pool bar, changing rooms and showers, are cleaned and maintained in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Promotes and participates in recreational activities involving the use of the pool.
