DescriptionPlease note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. The Medical Materiel Specialist – Level II shall include, but are not limited to, working independently at single-location sites and providing management oversight of other onsite contractor staff. The role includes coordinating logistics activities with other base organizations, units, and government agencies, and ensuring the overall readiness and availability of unit ECMM (Expeditionary Contingency Medical Materiel) including general medical materiel management and warehouse activities.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGX.
- Conduct monthly reviews, and provide monthly reports to the COR, of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance.
- Contractor also functions as Logical SLEP coordinator.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track and document the usage of medical materials.
- Assist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
- Work independently at single-location sites and provide management oversight of onsite contractor staff.
- Coordinate logistics activities with base organizations, units, and government agencies.
- Ensure overall readiness and availability of unit ECMM, including general medical materiel management and warehouse activities.
- Serve as the vendor-contracted Air National Guard (ANG) Influenza Program Manager, responsible for logistical oversight and management of the influenza vaccination program, and act as the focal point between the Surgeon General and ANG Medical Groups regarding the influenza program.
- Perform program management and oversight of medical materiel operations and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Collaborate in an integrated manner with stakeholders and provide strategic readiness reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Associate’s Degree or higher or eight years of medical logistics field experience with six years of specialized medical materiel management experience.
- Minimum 8 years of medical logistics field experience with six years of specialized medical materiel management experience. Specialized experience shall include general supply activities, ordering, receiving, customer support, inventory management, assemblage management, warehousing, and operation of various materials handling equipment. The specialized experience shall be in a healthcare or healthcare support environment. Must have experience in using and running transactions in the MMIS.
- Advanced degree in a related field, preferred.
- Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
- Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.
$17.81 to $22.26 per hour
