The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the accounting function, supporting accurate financial reporting and efficient close processes. This position is responsible for month‑end close activities, maintaining subledgers, preparing journal entries, and overseeing billing processes. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and experienced in a fast‑paced operational environment.

• Lead and assist with month‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile subledgers, including AR, AP, and other operational accounts.
• Support billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with internal reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to support financial accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; logistics, transportation, or service‑based industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of month‑end close, journal entries, and subledger accounting.
• Experience with billing and revenue processes.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
