Forklift Driver - Reach Or VNA

Great opportunity to work as a Forklift Driver - Reach or VNA for our client, a leading provider of integrated supply chain solutions for temperature-controlled food products.

Staffline is recruiting Reach Truck and VNA Drivers in Desborough.

The rate of pay is £14.74 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at £21.10 per hour.

This is a full‑time role working fixed nights, 4 on 4 off. The hours of work are 6pm to 6am.

As an FLT Driver your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Receiving and processing warehouse stock products
• Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
• Participating in our warehouse operations and activities, including storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders
• Conducting a full safety inspection of the forklift truck and/or tele truck and filling in relevant paperwork
• Keeping a constant flow of work on and off the production line
• Loading the operator and keeping the labourers with a continuous supply of items and stillages/pallets to pack the items
• Scraping the spot out of the bays (where required)
• Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed, including banding and wrapping the finished product for pallets
• Ensuring route card/identification is in place with the appropriate items (ie, if there are multiple items, the card with the correct part) before products are moved to different departments
• Assisting labourers (where needed) in preparing packaging parts
• Ensuring that the working areas (sheds and yard) are kept neat at all times and that there are no obstructions, ie, grids and doorways are kept clear
• General housekeeping duties as required by the Team Leader
• Working by the Company operating procedures and guidelines
• Adhering to all Company health and safety policies and practices, where appropriate

Our perfect worker will be physically fit, as there is some manual handling.

Applicants must have previous experience and have an in‑date Reach or VNA licence.
