Aspire People is seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to join a specialist SEN School located in Kettering. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and who want to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities- Supporting the teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of each student
- Assisting with the development and implementation of personalized learning plans
- Encouraging and fostering positive behaviour and self-confidence in students
- Helping with day-to-day classroom activities, including assisting with personal care if required
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to both teachers and parents/carers
- Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children with special educational needs, and who are eager to make a meaningful impact.
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably with SEN experience
- A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to supporting the educational, emotional, and social development of students
- A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable, but not essential
