Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Med-Surg position on day shifts requiring an active IL RN license and BLS certification.

• Work in a hospital telemetry/med-surg unit
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Required to float to other medical/surgical and telemetry units as needed
• May use different platforms (e.g., Relias) or free CDC resources for workplace violence prevention certification
• Local candidates are accepted with no difference in pay rate
• Prepare to provide supporting documentation for consideration such as references or certifications upon request

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or med-surg
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Certification in workplace violence prevention (DCI/BVP) or willingness to obtain
