Senior Technical Architect, WMS (Körber)

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Senior Technical Architect (Körber) to spearhead the technical execution and long-term evolution of our Warehouse Management System platform. You will be the technical visionary ensuring our warehouse network utilizes best-in-class architectures for new deployments, site conversions, and system enhancements. • Salary:
  Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum base salary of $150,000 per year, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
• Schedule:
  
  Ability to work a flexible schedule, typically your schedule will be 8:30AM to 5:00PM

You will provide daily technical leadership, guiding developers and managing the health of the Körber environment to support operational efficiency.

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the lead liaison for WMS solutions and guide developers in the design, build, and configuration of Körber platforms.
• Standards & Governance: Establish coding standards and review technical designs to prevent unnecessary complexity or over-customization.
• Rollout Management: Lead the technical rollout for new warehouse openings and facility conversions, ensuring systems are production-ready.
• Integration & Innovation: Design standard API and EDI integrations with ERP, TMS, and automation systems while evaluating emerging technologies like AI/ML.
• Platform Health: Manage environment performance, reliability, and capacity while overseeing release management and production support.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless transitions to operations.
• Mentorship: Coach team members to build deep expertise in integrations and modern engineering practices.

• 7+ years of specific experience working within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• A degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Körber platform architecture, SQL, and supply chain integration patterns.
• A deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution functional concepts.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to audiences ranging from users to executive management.
• Availability to travel for deployments and work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable standing and walking in a warehouse environment for several hours at a time.
