• Plan and direct operations of the facility based on policies and regulatory standards
• Full responsibility for all plans of care provided to residents
• Direct the hiring and training of employees
• Direct the activities of the medical, nursing, technical, clerical, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social service, activity and volunteer staff
• Represent the facility when dealing with outside agencies, including governmental agencies
• Oversee the facility’s marketing and census development plans
• Work in conjuction with facility liaison to grow census
• Administer budgets and ensure profitability
• Attend meetings with and act as liaison between staff, families and residents
• Create and maintain a positive atmosphere of warmth and calm throughout the facility

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a health-related degree is preferred
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in an Assisted and/or Independent Living facility
• Three to five years of Resident Services experience
• Sales and marketing experience
