Generations at Oakton Arms, an Independent and Assisted Living Facility in Des Plaines, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Full Time Dietary Aide. The Schedule is 10:30am - 7 pm.
New Higher Pay Rate of $17 per hour!

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide- Assist the chef in the preparation and service of food and beverages
- Coordinate daily dietary services with the nursing staff
- May serve food to bed residents
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal Food Sanitation Codes
- Ensure that work area is consistently clean and safe
- Illinois Food Sanitation Certification (or ability to attain this upon hire)
- Some experience in a food preparation environment a plus
- Must be able to understand, speak and write English
- Good verbal communication skills
- Compassion, understanding and tolerance for older adults
