Position Overview:

As a caregiver with Assisting Hands, you will provide direct, one-on-one care to clients in their homes. You must be able to manage your time efficiently, follow care plans accurately, and communicate clearly with both clients and office staff. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Support clients with safe mobility and transfers

Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

Provide companionship and emotional support

Monitor and document changes in client condition

Follow client-specific care plans and maintain confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving or home care experience

Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

Excellent time management and communication skills

Reliable transportation and punctuality are required

Must pass a background check and provide professional references
