Assistant Financial Analyst (Entry-Level) – Des Plaines, IL

$50,000 - $55,000/Annually (Plus full benefits)

We are currently seeking an Assistant Financial Analyst (Entry Level) to join our corporate finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze manufacturing data including labor costs, material usage, overhead allocation, and inventory trends
• Support monthly close activities by reconciling financial data and validating accuracy across systems
• Compare actual production and financial results against budgets and forecasts; help identify and explain variances
• Maintain and update financial databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data to ensure integrity and accuracy
• Help prepare structured, data-driven reports and dashboards for plant managers and senior leadership
• Handle confidential financial and operational data with professionalism and discretion

Requirements:

• Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred
• Strong interest in working with data
• Comfort working with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas, data organization)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
