Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support students at two unique educational settings housed within one building in Vernon Hills, IL. The role is scheduled from March 19 through June 2, offering the chance to work at Townline Elementary School and the School of Dual Language. This position involves providing psychological services on‑site and requires commitment to the schools operational hours.

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and deliver interventions to support student learning and mental health.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Participate in data‑driven decision making to promote student achievement and well‑being.
• Provide support for behavioral and emotional challenges within the school environment.
• Maintain compliance with district policies and ethical standards.
• Engage effectively with a diverse student population, including English language learners.

• Valid licensure and credentials as a School Psychologist.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a significant plus but not required.

• Workdays:
  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM;
  Wednesday from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Flexibility to consider candidates interested in part‑time schedules (2–3 days per week) if full‑time applicants are not available.
• On‑site position; virtual services are not permitted due to union regulations.
