District 62 has approximately 4,900 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
Compensation Information
- This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. This position includes paid sick and personal time. Salary information can be found here:

- Completion of a Master's degree in speech and language pathology or communication disorders from an accredited college or university.
2. Appropriate Illinois Licensure with Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.
3. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Selection Procedure
All applications will be reviewed by the Director of Student Services and building Principal and recommended for further interview consideration. After interviews are completed, the Assistant Superintendent will make a recommendation to the Board of Education via the Superintendent.
