Job Summary

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for warehouse operations, delivery of equipment, general building and grounds maintenance and basic installation of equipment.

Primary Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
  • Checks in merchandise, matches purchase orders and receives purchase orders in the computer system
  • Sorts and places items on shelving or in bins according to predetermined sequence
  • Unboxes product required for initial set‑up
  • Transfers product using established workflow procedures
  • Reads customer orders, work orders shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
  • Stages equipment to assist in loading of trucks
  • Processes all return orders using established workflow procedures
  • Conducts inventory and interrogates variances
  • Prepares items for shipping or mailing
  • Routine maintenance of grounds, building facilities and warehouse spaces
Delivery of Equipment
  • Delivers equipment via delivery truck to customer site
  • Coordinates deliveries with sales team for optimal time management
  • Loads and properly secures equipment in delivery trucks for safe travel
  • Presents a professional image and works respectfully with customers to place equipment within their facility
  • Processes proper documentation needed for inventory purposes
  • Maintains delivery vehicles, maintenance logs, and travel logs
Installation of Equipment
  • Performs basic connections of new equipment on customer networks to enable printing and scanning functions
  • Provides operator training on equipment to the customer to understand basic functions and proper usage
  • Performs other various tasks at the request of the management team
Minimum Required Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
Preferred Education & Experience
  • 2 or more years of related work experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail‑oriented
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully
  • Possess good organizational skills
Travel Requirements
  • This position requires driving/travel with occasional days exceeding 8 hours
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
Equipment Operation
  • This position requires the use of a forklift, shipping station, delivery vehicle, stair climber and various hand tools

The employee is occasionally required to climb, pull/push, lift or carry more than 50 pounds, crawl, and kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
