** Your Responsibilities:
*** Provide over-the-road training for new CDL-A drivers with less than six months of experience.
* Share a truck with the trainee throughout the training period.
* Offer refresher training for experienced drivers and remedial training for those on development plans.###
** Instruction Includes:
*** HOS compliance and regulations
* Load securement and trip planning
* In-cab computer and company-specific apps
* Defensive driving and safe backing
* Customer procedures and professional service skills
* DOT inspection and post-accident procedures
* Safe fueling and inclement weather operations
* Coupling/uncoupling trailers
* Document scanning and company policies###
** Supervisory Duties:
*** Provide complete, accurate, and timely documentation of student performance.
* Conduct weekly evaluations and report progress to the Training Department.
* Establish truck rules and expectations.
* Perform corrective coaching when needed.###
** What You Need:**
* ** 3+ years
** of verifiable, accident-free Class A CMV experience in interstate commerce.
* Previous in-cab training experience preferred.
* Completion of a two-day ICI certification class.
* Commitment to continuous training via online and in-person events.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and Teams.
* Professionalism and motivation to inspire students.
