Senior Python Backend Developer

We are looking for a strong Core Python Backend Developer
. This role is focused on building and maintaining high-performance backend systems
, not data engineering or analytics pipelines.

Experience

• 5–15 years of overall Python software development experience
• Background in top-tier product or financial services companies preferred.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Python (core backend development)
  • Object-oriented design, data structures, multithreading/multiprocessing
  • Performance optimization and memory management
  • Writing clean, testable, production-grade code
• Experience building backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and low-latency processing
• Experience with databases (SQL/No
  
  SQL) from an application developer’s perspective

Domain Experience (Nice to Have)

• Banking experience is a plus
• Prior experience in trade surveillance, compliance, capital markets, or risk systems is an advantage

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $65/hr - $75/hr on W2.

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
