Heavy Equipment Mechanic

PositionDescription:
Mechanics complete a wide variety of repairs on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, tractors, rollers, and other production vehicles.
We are currently hiring one mechanic dedicated to heavy equipment and a second dedicated to tractor trailers.
Mechanics work from 6:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Weekend overtime required as necessary.
Job Requirements:- Associate’s degree in Diesel Technology or a related field preferred.
- 3 years or more mechanic experience with heavy equipment may supplement a degree.
- Experience with CAT, CASE, Peterbilt and/or Mack equipment preferred.
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, kneel, crawl and squat as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
- Ability to perform overhead and elevated work required.
- Must provide own tools and toolbox.
- Class A or B CDL preferred. Clean driving record required.
Mechanics start at up to $38.53 perhour, based on experience. McAninch pays 100% of all benefits, including health insurance premiums and pension dues

Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week and employees are paid weekly on every Friday.
