Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician II to join our team and serve clients in the Des Moines, Iowa area. This role goes beyond Level I duties, requiring advanced skills, certifications, and leadership to lead installation teams. Responsibilities include configuring and programming devices, overseeing system commissioning, and delivering customer training at a basic operations level.

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities, following comprehensive documentation.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in handling project and service tickets.
• Understand project scopes and deliver outstanding results.
• Lead by delegating tasks, mentoring Level 1 installers, and seeking feedback.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
• Pursue ongoing development, focusing on leadership and communication.
• Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) of products before installation.
• Configure and commission systems, ensuring reliable and operational solutions.
• Accept additional job duties as needed.

• Minimum 2 years with a previous construction trade.
• Advance knowledge of electricity (high and or low voltage).
• Hands‑on field experience from previous work.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Ability to identify and use common low voltage cabling.
• Working knowledge of IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Previous experience completing projects within scope.
• Experience with service ticketing processes.
• Knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, or nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid US Driver’s license.
