• Starting salary of $26.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience

• 4‑Day Work Week
• 4:00 pm–2:30 am
• Stable hours for financial security and work‑life balance
• Normal setting: repair/maintenance shop at the Des Moines, IA hauling site

• Fix trucks and equipment that service over 20 million customers across the USA
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times
• Assist senior mechanics in completing project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on driver vehicle inspection reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constant standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to physical risks such as cuts, burns, toxic chemicals
• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar elements
• Operations in both inside garage/shop or gas plant conditions and outside conditions with inclement weather, heat, and humidity
