You must have a current Iowa or compact state RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least one year of recent telemetry experience, with two years preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification is recommended but not mandatory. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, strong cardiac assessment skills, and the ability to interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) are recommended for success in this role.
