Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry (Nights)
Location: Des Moines, IA
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 4x12s | 13 Weeks
Seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to care for cardiac and vascular patients on a 24-bed cardiology unit. Patient population includes CABG, ICD, pacemaker, cardiac drips, and vascular surgical patients. 1:6 ratio on nights. Must be comfortable with cardiac rhythm interpretation, titrating drips, and floating to similar units as needed. EMR: EPIC.
Required (Must Have)- 24 months current Telemetry/Cardiac RN experience
- Experience with CABG, ICD, pacemaker, cardiac drips, vascular surgical patients
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Drip/titration experience
- EPIC experience
- Alaris IV pump & wound vac experience
- At least 1 completed travel contract within last 18 months
- Active Iowa RN license (Compact accepted)
- BLS & ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience floating between campuses
