A Day in the Life - Curtis - Registered Nurse ()

Our team recognizes how stressful an illness or injury can be, not only to your child but also to your family. You know your child best, so we will include you as we assess and treat your child. In addition to doctors and nurses, our team includes social workers and child life specialists to help you during your child's emergency. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care during an unplanned and often stressful experience.

Our emergency specialists work together with pediatric specialists at Blank Children's Hospital to provide the most comprehensive care possible.

  : 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back
  : 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call

OT billing
:
--- if scheduled 36-40 hrs/week, OT billed after 40 hrs
--- if scheduled 48 hrs/week, OT billed after 48 hrs

Unit Info:

• Beds: 42
• 1:2 or 1:3 ratio
• Vasopressors, sedation & glucose administered on unit

Types of patients:

• Premature, respiratory distress/failure, hypoglycemia, etc.

Requirement description :

• 2+ years NICU experience
• BLS, NRP
  - required
• Dependent and Child Abuse certifications - can be obtained during onboarding
• Will accept 1st time traveler
• may float to general pediatrics and PICU

Every other weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled
