Join our healthcare partner's team and make a difference in a 22-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio. As a Med Surg nurse, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. You'll have the opportunity to work with the EPIC electronic medical system and gain experience floating across multiple campuses.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to general med surg patients
• Administer medications, including Heparin drips, as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including wearing navy blue scrubs
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Maintain an active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license
• Hold a current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Possess at least 24 months of Med Surg/Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Previous travel experience within the past 18 months
• De-escalation certification preferred (MAB, MOAB, CPI, SAMA)
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
