Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an IA or compact RN license and key certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Typical shift is from 10:30 to 23:00, with flexibility required to cover alternate shifts such as 14:30-03:00
- Patient population includes both adult and pediatric emergency cases
- Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
- Accepts local candidates with local rate eligibility based on state of residence
- Must be able to adapt to flexible scheduling and work both adult and pediatric emergencies
- Holiday and weekend coverage expected on a rotating basis
- Scrubs or dress code requirements are not specified in this posting
- Active IA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience
- Certifications required:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- License and certifications must be current and verifiable
