Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a high-acuity Emergency Medicine locum tenens assignment in Ottumwa, Iowa . This swing-shift role offers consistent monthly coverage, a strong physician/APP team model, and a balanced patient flow within a Level IV Trauma Center.

Assignment Overview

• Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital – Emergency Department
• Start Date: December 31, 2025

• Treat undifferentiated patients across all acuity levels
• Perform advanced assessments, procedures within scope, and initiate emergency interventions
• Collaborate with on-site physicians & APC team
• Manage steady patient flow in Level IV Trauma environment
• Document efficiently using Meditech EMR

• Active Iowa NP/PA license (or eligibility with temp privileges)
• Board Certification: NCCPA (PA) or NCCNP (NP)
• Life Support Required: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Minimum 1–3 years Emergency Medicine experience
• Ability to work 11a–11p swing shifts consistently
