Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring two years of current hospital L&D and OR experience, with active Iowa or compact RN license.
Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting

• Care for labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum patients

• May float to Mother/Baby and Postpartum units as needed

• Epic EMR is used in this facility and experience is preferred

• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays:
Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving

• Only 1 day of requested time off is permitted between and

• Locals within 50 miles are accepted

• First-time travelers may be considered

• References from a supervisor within the past 2 years are needed for onboarding

• Returning employees must not have worked at the facility within the past 12 months
Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required

• Minimum 2 years of current L&D experience in a hospital setting, including operating room exposure

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP

• All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration

• Experience with Epic preferred
