Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Neuro Unit night shift position, requiring BLS and NIHSS certifications.

• Work in a hospital on the 6 North Neurology unit
• Neurological patient population
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Compliance with facility dress and appearance policies is required; jeans, halter-tops, shorts, sleeveless shirts, and facial earrings are not permitted
• Accurate timekeeping for work periods and meal breaks is expected
• No payment provided for sick time or call-offs, but make-up shifts may be requested at the facility's discretion
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

• Active RN license in hand
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• License verification dated within 30 days of start required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
